Calling

Life can be mean! And this sucks. Today is a F my life kinda of day for me! But I do not want to ponder on the why my life suck parts, but focus on what makes my life meaningful. And seeing that the major part that keeps me going is art and my kiddos I see fit as to post this what some might see as venting her on this blog!

Yesterday (Monday) I finally was able to serve in my host teachers classroom. The mini snowcation had interrupted our time together.  I walk into her classroom and state how nervous I am since I've been gone so long, and we proceed in catching up an sharing of stories to get me comfortable. My host teacher and I shared a beautiful moment in which ended with hugs and slight tears from me. Let me just state that my host teacher is simply put a guardian angle!

My host teacher is amazing and is very aware of her preservice teachers. She is invested in helping us become the best artist teachers we can be! Now she had to reintroduce me since I had been gone so long, but she gives the best introduction and dedicates a nice portion of her class time for it. This was one of the meaningful moments I experience that day. Students asked me questions about my art and were very interested in knowing more about both me and my art.

Now the other beautiful moment came for my time with the student teacher she is kind and majes me so proud to say that I am apart of the artist teacher program coming from Mizzou.

This program is truly cultivating amazingly wonderful and passionate seeds!
