Multiple Viewpoints -
1. a specified or stated manner of consideration or appraisal; standpoint: from the point of view of a.
2. an opinion, attitude, or judgment: He refuses to change his point of view in the matter.
3. the position of the narrator in relation to the story, as indicated by the narrator's outlook from which the events are depicted and by the attitude toward the characters.
I use multiple viewpoints like no ones business (laughing out loud). But, seriously as photographer this is one of my key and most used tools in my toolbox! I have no fear of climbing on a chair, lying on the ground, or bending over backwards to achieve the view that is needed in order to get my shot(s) to the intensity I am trying to achieve. The idea of multiple viewpoint is one that I explore daily. Even when my camera is not glued to my hand I am using multiple viewpoint. For example when I have a simple or complex decision to make, I HAVE to look at my possible choices from every viewpoint. Furthermore take for instance when approaching an artwork, I must take into consideration the different mediums and the way that they can effect the overall concept of the work. This idea to me is truly essential because of its ability to be used in multiple ways!
